How does the GS Extreme work?Updated 3 months ago
The GS Extreme Earbuds provide full Bluetooth audio, digital hearing enhancement, and electronic hearing protection, all in a small set of earbuds with a lanyard.
Bluetooth: This feature allows you to connect with any single Bluetooth-capable device simultaneously. The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (30 feet). You can answer, make, and end phone calls with the click of a button! It can work with the Sound Enhancement or separately.
Passive Hearing Protection: The foam tips, when fully sealing off the ear canal correctly, will provide the following decibel protection:
- Max Protect Foam Tips: 29 dB SNR
- General Foam Tips: 29 dB SNR
- Silicone Tips: 19 dB SNR
Sound Enhancement: This allows you to enhance noise in your environment with four clicks, increasing up to six times for a total 8 dB gain. It also provides electronic hearing protection. Any sound over 85 dB will be compressed for your hearing safety. This is called noise isolation and is different from noise cancellation. You will still hear the sound in real-time, but the sound waves will be compressed, protecting your hearing. The units are designed to be used in any loud environment.
You can use Sound Enhancement, Hearing Protection & Bluetooth Audio ALL AT THE SAME TIME to give you the features and performance you need. You can turn your Sound Enhancement to your exact desired level for your specific need while independently adjusting your Bluetooth audio to your desired level to balance the sounds from both systems.
