The GS Extreme has the microphones carefully placed for optimal, natural wind reduction, plus we program the digital circuits inside to help suppress wind noise automatically as well. 

The GS Extreme rests inside your ear, instead of over your ear like the traditional ear muff. The microphones are inside your ear, which helps cut down the wind that enters. 

There will still be some wind noise, but it will be better than your typical earmuff. But most importantly, make sure you have the best fit possible, as that is the best thing you can do to reduce the wind noise. The best fit includes having the correct-sized foam tip and a tight, secure fit from the moldable wire.  

Wind filter discs are included with each GS Extreme order. They are a small, passive filter that goes over the microphone to help dampen the wind noise.
