✅ Best for Shooting & Loud Environments
Max Protect Foam Tips
Our top recommendation for shooting, industrial work, auto racing, and other high-noise activities.✅ General Hearing Protection & Smaller Caliber Firearms
General Foam Tips
Great for everyday hearing protection where strong noise reduction is still needed.❌ Not Recommended for Shooting
Silicone Tips
Designed for comfort, audio clarity, workouts, and general hearing purposes. These only provide 27 dB SNR and should not be used for shooting or loud impulse noise.
Foam Tip Lifespan & Care
Foam tips are recommended for hearing protection, and their lifespan depends on how often they are used and how they are cared for. With proper maintenance, foam tips can easily last 1–2 years.
To help extend the life of your foam tips:
Gently clean ear wax from the tips using a damp paper towel
Avoid over-squishing or aggressively compressing the foam
Allow tips to fully expand after each use
Regular care helps maintain both comfort and optimal noise reduction.
Getting the Best Fit
Because every ear is different, finding the right tip may take a little trial and error—and that’s completely normal.
Helpful tips for fitting:
Warm foam tips in your hands or pocket for a few minutes before inserting.
Gently open your mouth while inserting the earbuds—this opens the ear canal and allows for a deeper, more secure fit.
Try all sizes. It’s very common for one ear to need a different size than the other.
👉 A full seal in the ear canal is essential to achieve the full noise reduction (SNR) rating.
